The biggest questions in life don’t have concrete answers. Why are we here? What is the true nature of reality? What is the purpose of existence? What is our fate?

When everything boils down to holding vast uncertainty, it can feel overwhelming, even maddening. Life can feel like one endless question mark, especially when the stakes feel high—like discovering your purpose or 'finding your person.' There’s a deep desire for answers, for something solid to stand on. But often, we’re left in the dark, doing our best to make sense of it all.

This constant unknown, this mystery at the core of existence, can feel profoundly unfair, as though we’re being asked to live without a map, like we were birthed into this world without a user manual. And yet, there’s also a strange kind of beauty in uncertainty. That unknowingness gives us the opportunity to discover and create meaning as we go, even when it’s hard, even when it’s painful.

The practice of holding uncertainty isn’t about passivity or surrender; it’s an active, courageous choice to live without guarantees and find meaning within that mystery. Reverence for the mystery doesn’t mean we always like it or feel at peace with it. It just means we’re choosing to stay open, even in the face of all the things we can’t control or understand. Choosing reverence and curiosity for life’s mysteries might be a path to grow, love, and live more fully.

Today, we launch Reverence for the Mystery with the intention to explore the mysteries of the universe together, through philosophical and spiritual reflections and practices. This space will delve into topics such as self-inquiry, self-discovery, emotional resilience, love, suffering, wellness, mindfulness, health, science, art, faith, and relationships.

Our approach is deliberately multi-disciplinary. We draw wisdom from any religion and a diverse range of disciplines and perspectives, always with thoughtful scrutiny. We aim to provide frameworks for understanding the self and the external world in ways that resonate with you.

This blog post is just the beginning. Our highest hope is that one day, Reverence for the Mystery will become a haven for kindred souls across the world to connect, grow, practice, and share together. Stay tuned for more writings, videos, guides, and opportunities to connect. With reverence and gratitude for each moment of this beautiful mystery we get to experience—and with love for all beings, RFTM.
